But I did it anyways. The paint wasn’t sticking to my front lip so instead of having either an ugly flaking lip or a black lip with the rest of the body kit the proper color I just made the body kit all match. Looks like a primer bodykit that hasn’t been finished yet but eh. Moar black accents on my car.

Not bad but I would’ve left the upper part of the tupperware skirt titanium instead of black. I think it’ll make the skirt look less like a primer bodykit part.

Also, what’s next, painting mirrors black like the NC and ND clubs?

Hmm. That’d be a bit tougher to pull off. Masking plastidip is pretty impossible.

Damn! Also, I’m thinking of pulling off the Club look so I’m eyeing a set of brand new NC Club emblems and looking for an used set of Brilliant Black NB mirrors.

Also, my compression issue is not the timing belt nor the timing being off a tooth. Next step: cylinder head comes off for inspection. Good thing Panic has numerous NB2 cylinder heads laying about!

I’m saving the club badges for after I eventually get the Miata resprayed in current color. The black mirrors is something I’m on the fence about until I get my other Miata issues and ideas sorted/finished.
